Tomorrow evening, the German Radio (Deutschlandfunk) will be presenting the new CD by Susanne Kessel in hommage to Olivier Messiaen on the 20th anniversary of his death. I have created soundscapes based on the life and works of Olivier Messiaen for this CD. I hope that you can listen the 28th of May at 22h.

I am thrilled to announce that my composition for piano solo and electronics is published and availiable for download!
The piece was written for The Piano Spheres Concert series in Los Angeles in 1997 and commissioned by Leonard Stein and Betty Freeman. The duration is 8 Minutes. Please contact me for samples of the electronic playback files. When purchased, I will send you a link to the high quality electronics files as well as practice audio files with click tracks.

Dear Friends,
I have just returned from Cologne where I spent a facinating 3 days working with pianist Susanne Kessel.
Here are a couple of photos of the fabulous facility at the Deutschlandfund where we were so wonderfully received.
In these photos we were setting up gongs for a new work called "Gongscape for Olivier Messian" and a peak from the booth while recording Timetexture, for piano and electronics.
Hopefully, the cd will be released in the spring of 2012.

Just wanted to post a very short note to say that I have just completed a sound design for the design agency Agence Nuel for the entrance of this year's design fair, Maison et Objet.
The show is from 20-24 January and is considered to be one of the most important of it's kind!
In other news, I will be leaving for Cologne on the 27th of January to record a new cd of music of Messiaen and my own works with Susanne Kessel for the Deutschlandfunk and Oehms Classics.

Dear friends,
With so many various projects on the go in 2011 I have been very rare with my blogs. So to start anew, I would like to share with you all the new website of Exquise Design, and the gallery called Slott, with which I have been collaborating since its inception in 2010!
The gallery will be moving from it's original beautiful space near the Gare de L'Est where I had the oppertunity to collaborate directly with artists such as Arik Levy, Matali Crasset, Florence Jaffrain and numerous others to another magnificient location at Quai de Conti in the 6th arrondissement in Paris.
To start of the New Year, I will be presenting new sound design in collaboration with video artist Gregory Abou at Art Paris
In other news, I have just finished the music and sound design for a new ten episode series for Radio, presenting a theatrical adaptation of a magical and sureal Mexican novel. It should be a fabulous production. Will have more specific info on the broadcast soon.
